If it was any other season I would have started this piece with....is it possible that we could catch Arsenal on the hop twice in one season. But this isn't any other season, that first day victory was no fluke. Arsenal were well and truly beaten that day, and it continued Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea. If it wasn't for the unbelievable position that Leicester are in I think more would have been made about the season we've had no matter what way it finishes.Arsenal have a bit of form lately but we've gone that extra mile this season against the so called big guns. The Boleyn Ground has become a fortress in it's last season and I hope the FA cup replay will not be in the back of the players minds. If he gets to play I think Andy could provide the winner, he has done it before.

I've had the week off this week, a bit naffed that the cup replay wasn't last Wednesday as I wouldn't have had to worry about getting up ( 5am ) the next day. So the Gooners game ( unless I can get a ticket for Swansea ) will be my last visit to the Boleyn, I'm setting out via train from the midlands with my Gooner mate who hasn't been to West ham in 20 yrs so he's looking forward to it as well, He's just rang me to see what time he's picking me up and told me what he wants to do, (a) Photo at the statue (b) Pie & Mash at Nathan's ( if were lucky with the queue )...(c) few beers at the Boleyn..( he's not wearing his colours so we should be ok )...What we both agreed is that we hope the ref doesn't spoil what has the making of a great game......I dare say I'll shed a tear....WHTID

It's a shame the game was spoilt by the ref mate, a geezer next to me got a text to say our first goal was about 2 yrd ON-SIDE. ??? I tell you mate, they don't want us in Europe....they can cope with one fairy tail story but not two....It was sad at the end having one last look at the old girl ( Boleyn )...

Me son has played up today and been punished. If it continues then he misses the FA Cup game on Wednesday as well, which was a push as he has exams over the next few weeks anyway so let's hope he wakes up and smells the coffee! Trying to sell 2 tickets for tomorrow if anyone is interested for under face value.

Thought when Carroll got his
Thought when Carroll got his third it was the winner. It was a great match, linesman's decision went against us. This idea that things even out over a season is wearing a bit thin. Shows the difference this season, 2 nil down to Arsenal and we would have thrown the towel in. Cup replay next can't wait. By the way when Wenger was interviewed after the match and it was put to him that his defence couldn't cope, instead of coming up with some excuse he actually agreed and said it was a problem all season.........a rare admission.
