Rumour has it (luv a rumour) that gus hiddink will be sounded out about taking over for the rest of the season and the club will then look in the summer for a full time replacement...but if hiddink is not interested a certain Sam Allardyce will also be Asked if he would like to come back....

If it's true it would be great, good man management and tactically very sound.

Gus would be ideal but I expect bilic to stay for now. Then when all the easy games pass we might drop someone in the sh1t as a result. It would be typical West Ham.

What a choice ,Bilic to stay on or have Allardyce back in a caretaker role until end of the season. That's like choosing between a smack in the mouth or a kick up the arse....WTF is going on with this club, talk about desperation, our club is a laughing stock.I think after the Spurs cup game Weds night the boards hands will be forced unless Bilic decides to walk, cause the odds are Westham will get a thumping, and the outrage by the fans will be so hostile.Westham need a big name manager now, with the experience to cope with the pressure and the tactical know-how to get the players playing as a team. It's so obvious that Bilic is struggling to turn things around ,I have lost count the amount of times he has been in this situation where his job is on the line, but scrapped the results and relieved the pressure.Surely he isn't going to repeat it Weds against Spurs is he ? As welcome as a win would be,all it will do is keep this bloody charade going .Bilic is a manager under immense pressure, despite what he says, and its not nice too see the guy struggling, cause he's a decent guy,but he is appointed to manage a football club and is struggling badly, with the quality of the squad he should be doing a lot better, that's the bottom line.Anyone performing that badly in their job for the length of time he has can only expect one thing, the sack. The board are doing the club no favours nor the fans by keeping him on,they are just as bad,it's what is called mis-placed loyalty .Gus Hiddink would certainly be a good choice,he is available and he will have quality players to work with,it's whether he can work with the controlling influence of DS on transfers ,which will be an issue come January.

As the title suggests I believe that West Ham United has been a figment of everyone’s imagination since the start of the Premiership.
The West Ham United that I supported actively since 1957 when I was 8 just does not exist anymore. It was sold to the highest bidder. First the Bond scheme, then the Icelandic fiasco and now with our present owners . We cannot even do due diligence with our sponsors. First XL and then Alpari go belly up . What a coincidence after Eggert and his chums did the same.
We were led to believe that we deserved to be in the Upper echelons of the EPL but have never had the money or the players to do so. Top half okay but top tier not a chance. Our managers have been functional but not trail blazers. The West Ham Way of bringing through Academy players has been turned into a corner shop. We buy some cheap foreign or English talent and then try to flog them off at the first available profit. Basically a poor man’s Chelsea.
Then there is the OS. Again due diligence is missing. Is what we have there what we wanted or hoped for ? Seating, Stewarding , concessions etc. . All the while Upton Park has less to show that West Ham were there than the Memorial Grounds.
Where are the speedy players that we wanted to get in? Who scouts the likes of Arnautavic, Ayew, Zaza, Valencia, Snodgrass and Uncle Tom Cobly? Do we just listen to the agents bs or does someone from West Ham critique them? I find it amazing that the board will spend 20 million or more on CRAP. We get run ragged week in and week out by good players who cost less than half of one of ours.
Rambling a bit now but it is still relatively early here in Florida. So I only watch West Ham on US tv apart from a trip for the Chelsea game and the Iron Men premier. Do I have the right to sound off about the current situation. Sure I paid my dues earlier in life when Bovril cost 3d and not 2 pounds. Do not expect agreement but needed to vent as we appear to be heading helter skelter to the abyss of Championship ( or Division One as I call it).
Here's to a top half finish which is achievable with a new manager and some decent training. Just like my dreams.......

They DO love the Championship, don't they? Not sure I feel he's the right person to take us forward. Hiddink was a genius, but it's been a long time for him, no? And please not Big Sam! Dear me, who is left?

Employing someone like Wagner takes a lot of forward thinking and sadly that aint our board....before he went to huddersfield he was klopps asst and turned klopp down when he wanted him at liverpool he clearly wanted to prove he is his own man which of course he is doing very well indeed....now would we of taken a chance the answer simply is no..on the one hand they would say he has no experience of the league and on the other he is not a "NAME" and we no how our lot love a name...personally i wish someone would have the balls and the out of the box thinking to make a surprise appointment but they wont and it will be the usual suspects i'm afraid.

Dicksy just read in the paper bilic has another 2 games to turn it around! This bloke needs extra time to get this right, he is making great strides. I mean an extra 2 games will show us a complete turn around like it has the last 42 times he has been given games to prove himself.
