i know the general thread is on the main page but i duno , i like a match thread or two on the active forums link .
What is this guy playing at , at first i thought its just a bad run and things will turn around , but now im worried because i think im turning into a conspiracy theorist, i reckon he misses the north so much that he cant wait to get back there , only problem is he's bringing those cheeky cockney bastards down a peg or two before he goes ,"how dare they question my authority" , either that or he's taking the piss , i wont go into the analysis , i think every west ham fan knows by now what the root of the problem is , but today was not so much the icing on the cake so much as crap in the kennel, and deep down i think the players know its time to get shot , i know this is going to sound like treason but when we play QPR i hope they play Zarati and i hope he has a brarmer and yes i hope he scores , we'll still win 3-1 though ,

Apparently Zarate is: "not fit, not available, and has been returned to his parent club for treatment." Doubt we'll see him again in the PL this season, if ever.
I know what you mean however. Sam's done what he was employed to do, now we need somebody better to take us forward, somebody who knows how to attack. If it were down to me I'd get rid tonight, hand the reins to Macca or Teddy for the rest of the season, and look to bring in a new man -- the only (big) question is who?

Hand the reins till the end of the season to teddy & macca then the daves have the summer to get someone in.im not normally a pessimist but today was the icing on the cake, ive tried to be positive regarding sam but his demeanour says to me that he really does not give a shite about our great club, hes never warmed to the fans,& again his tactics & substitutions beggar belief!!I for one am fed up with watching him standing there chewing gum without a clue what to do next...rant over

I feel that there is need for an injection of pace in the midfield which is sadly lacking. Why won't Sam bring Downing back into the middle. He is ineffective on the wing. I am not sure how much the team want it although there were parts of the game that looked ok and Nolan should have scored. Kouyate was immense as per usual. Song a mixed bag and Noble as slow as ever (I am not anti Noble as sometimes his distribution can be good). Jenkinson and Cresswell were not great today though they have been pretty solid this year. Sakho worked hard today but being isolated doesn't enhance his game. He needs support. Tactically Allardyce lacks that go forward mentality that could take us further. Again we started sluggishly. Our ability to keep the ball and pass the ball effectively is highly suspect so I think the skill levels need to be improved as does positional play. I hope we have an injection of cash for next season as some players need to go. Would love a ball playing pacey midfielder (Cazorla- like) to come in so that we can create moves to supply our striker(s). Ings or Austin upfront would give us some more options. Carlton needs to go as does Jarvis. Probably Nolan too or maybe next year. O'Brien and Demel also at the back. As for the man in charge I feel it may be time for him to go even though there is risk for next season. Replacing him is a difficult one though to ensure security of staying up. A nice poser for our Daves'. It's only football though not life or death!

It has all been said before we are better than this, I think the players have had enough and do not know what they are meant to be doing any more.

Big Sam is to blame for what we have been seeing over the last 4 months make no bones about that.

nailed it in one chubs , surly as fans we have a right to expect the glorious run before Christmas be maintained and even marginally improved on , instead due to this manager we slide relentlessly towards obscurity

I honestly think If a Tellie Tubbie was In charge he/she would probably have done better than Big Sam has over the last 12-15 games.
Even with a broken stomach TV.
Eh Oh Hammer play yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

i only wanted 4 points from our last two games and we got 3 some people wanted and rightly expected 6 points so we are definitely under achieving so who is to blame ?????

There's more needs explaining than just losing to the bottom club in the league. There is the whole performance of the team, in the league AND in the FA CUP, since the start of the new year (and in reality before that). There is only one place such long term blame can be laid -- At the Hippo's door. As a West Ham fan I hang my head in shame. I used to go up and introduce myself as a fan to anyone I saw wearing the shirt here in Australia. Yesterday I saw someone, and for the first time ever, I held back. It's an embarrassment to play a club like Leicester and set up 4-5-1 against them. And then to come out so toothless in the second half, and make substitutions with the aim of "respecting the point". Well, you know what's happened.

It's almost impossible to fathom why the moron in charge keeps persisting with 4-5-1 when we were so effective and ruthless playing the diamond. Sam seems to have co,poetry forgotten how we we playing at the start of the season. FFS what is the point in trying to hang on to 10th spot. Push on, try to be offensive and see how high we can finish. There's a pack of hungry dogs chasing us from below and a couple of them will easily catch us with this mentality. Losing to the bottom club is nothing but shameful and his excuses must be taken as nails in the coffin now. If the Dave's don't get rid questions will be asked about their ambition for us

Whether there is any credence to your last sentence m2c will soon be apparent,7 games to go and counting.I think 75% of fans are just hoping they have someone else lined up to take over

I recently posted that i was in the "be careful what you wish for camp",but after that performance today against the bottom club & pretty much most of our performances since xmas, im a tad ashamed to have backed sam.Maybe its because ive supported westham for so long that ive become a bit complacent, "oh well at least we have stayed up this year" has probably been my way of thinking..But today it really hit me regarding the arrogance of our manager,i can handle westham losing against poor teams(its nothing new) but i tend to always think about the person who pays decent money to follow our team especially away from home, the person who lives & breathes westham, but if your the manager of westham united football club the bottom line is at least show you care,& imo sam doesnt show that...

Keep's playing Nolan and even re-used Jarvis over previous weeks, when we have an ex-PSG attacking midfielder in Nene and a good attacking midfielder in Almarfatino both sitting on the bench and both must be thinking 'what are we doing here watching this shite?' Nene came on in the 88th minute today??? Clueless Allardyce and all he will succeed in is hacking off the fans and decent players! Why don't we realise that the quicker he is gone then the quicker we can re-build for next season!
