Matri to sign on friday

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on Thu, 27/08/2015 - 22:39

Latest rumour, matrix is flying in to sign tomorrow. About 7th choice? Not excited by this it stinks of nothing more than the usual filler! Don't expect much more from him than I would carlton

Why do the club make these pointless striker signings that might as well be filled by a youngster. They normally get no more than 2 or 3 run outs and make no difference. Ok he isn't signed yet but we all know someone will be signed for this role. Sullivan says we won't sign anyone who won't improve the team we are only bringing in quality and are not desperate! Also remember them saying we are gonna sign 2 marquee signings this year! Payet is one, still waiting on the other. Anyone heard if maiga has actually signed in Saudi Arabia yet?

I've seen him quite a few times in Juve ( just like Ogbonna ) due to close friends following them. Wasn't impressed what so ever with both. Juve fans weren't as well.

Whoever it is, looks like it will probably only be necessary to cover a couple of games.

That's assuming that Carroll, Valencia and Sakho return and then stay fit which none of them did last season!

Would have been nice to go for a fourth striker that can realistically challenge the other three, I don't think Zarate is good enough and there doesn't seem to be any trust in Elliott Lee.

What if we all chip in a couple of quid and buy Austin, leave Gullivan to just cover the wages?1

Having said that, right now, anyone would be useful, I can't see Bilic doing an Allerdici again and playing a false 9 and doing Liverpool over like we did Spurs.

Not great form and a washed up striker. Adebayor medical is not now taking place today so this one will roll on. Extremely disappointing transfer news all round and no quality coming in. Bumpy ride will continue so make sure your seat belts are fastened.

We all know and here the amount of money around the Prem plus the sale of the ground there must be some money in the pot for a decent striker or is all this talk about this is team we have always wanted to own just talk.

We spent 22-24 million and then sold downing for 7 million so that means 15-17 million in total spent. This board needs to be sacked asap. We sold our home for a nice profit and now club fans are demanding an inquiry into our Olympic stadium bid. Imagine if we get told "Oh sorry west ham, you can not use the Olympic Stadium"

So many negatives at the moment-sakhos arrest, sullivan digging out austin, etc that your last comment would be the icing on the cake!!;)

You never hear of other clubs being turned down like we do, there has to be something very wrong in our negotiation tactic, we're in desperate need of reinforcements so if there's a player they/ Bilic has identified surely they need to get him, they can't all want ridiculous wages surely

Yeah I was as well mate, perhaps that's why I feel so disappointed now, I really thought we'd make some big changes as it was obvious that the squad wasn't good enough or big enough. I guess it's easy for me to moan because it's not my money but a Premiership club has to improve just to maintain last season's finish in the league, if you want to improve then we have to invest more, at this point in time I see nothing but a struggling campaign, hopefully we'll see some decent additions before the end!

I think it's the fact that the last few weeks it's been one bit of bad news after another. Valencia's injury, losing the 2 home games, Song is he or isn't he... more crap about the Olympic Stadium, not getting a few players we were after (Mirallas or A.N. Other replacement for Downing), Zarate's injury, Downing and Allardyce bad-mouthing the club... the list seems to go on and on, with no good news at all! My brain tells me it's only 3 games into the season, and we are still above the Spuds, but I think we are badly in need of some good news from somewhere!!

We certainly do bully, I don't think the start of this season is panning out how anybody expected, can't see any points from today but I thought the same when we played Arsenal so you never know, I think Sakho could do with a goal today, his work rate last week was fantastic, one of the few positives

Yeah he needs a goal, wonder what the odds are for a West Ham win with Sakho scoring? Did you read that article I posted about how few home wins there have been this season so far? Dare we even hope???

I think if they can turn up from the start instead of only in the second half then that will at least be an improvement from the past 2 games, we could do with a point I think it's international weekend next week
