Some of the stuff on here is depressing. Basically if we are "rumoured", i.e. a paper or newsfeed has written something, it means we are negotiating. Does it? Do we really believe everything we read? The Giroud deal is easy, just pay Arsenal the money, forget the player and where he wants to play. He must be falling over himself to play at West Ham. That great bottom half team in London, fighting for, err.. nothing very season. Forget Lyon, Champions League, the world cup next year and getting into the French squad at 31. Giroud is nailed on to want to join west Ham. If only we'd pay the money, the multi multi multi millionaire thickos. Then there's Onyekuru, scores a hatful of goals in the Belgium League and is not good enough, yet Lanzini who played in the Abu Dhabi league is? Theo Walcott is injury prone, doesn't play at Arsenal, yet he started 29 games and came on as sub 8 times scoring 19 goals, but he's not good enough? Oh and got 47 caps for England and scored 8 goals at 28. Basically the rule on here is if we want to sign someone they're crap, until theres a "rumour" someone else wants to sin them, then they're a world beater. All players are clambering to join mid table mediocre West Ham, and all we have to do is stump up the cash, simple. Especially 15 plus goal a season strikers! 71 cap 30 year old Joe Hart, having won two Premier League titles, Fa Cup and League cups is crap and worse than Adrian and Darren Randolph!!? Somebody said they'd have kept Norvedit, or did I dream that? Oh and Crystal Palace are more progressive because they want Frank De Boer! So progressive that if Allardyce hadn't retired they'd still have the T-Rex of football! Frank De Boer great player, managed Ajax in an average league and failed at Inter. But he's a better bet than Bilic. Scratching my head here lads, maybe I need a holiday or a break from the org? But its very depressing reading on here all the time. Lighten the f**** up

It frustrates me to see other teams showing initiative and getting on with business while West Ham sit on their hands. The board rather encourages at least some of the rumours, and those are the ones I pay more attention to. The fans have reason to get excited about these, at least initially, until we find out (season after season) that there is some "hitch" -- salary, buy-back clause, transfer fee, etc. There's always a hitch. Meanwhile, not only are the teams above us signing players for 30, 40, 50 Million quid, the teams below us are breaking the bank to sign new players. Then August comes round and West Ham are still waiting for all the dominoes to fall so that they can clean up what's left. Giroud and Iheanacho are good examples of the way a decent player is dangled before us. I think either of them would make a great signing for what little we have of a decent side right now. Walcott? -- I'm not impressed. League Goals, 2013: 5; 2014: 5; 2015: 5; 2016: 10. Injuries or no injuries, West Ham simply need someone more reliable than that. We've been back in the league a few seasons now: we're established. We've parted ways with Allardyce in order to "go to the next level". We've moved to the London Stadium in order to "have one of the best playing surfaces in Europe". We've become "West Ham London" for branding and marketing purposes, "a big club". The Club have profited from the sale of the Boleyn Ground and have a lease deal on the stadium that is the envy of all the other teams (else they would not have tried so hard to stop it). The TV money is bigger than ever. So what I want is for the Club to stop acting like a little fish in a big pond and start demonstrating that they are serious about being competitive in the top half of the table. From where I sit they look anything but serious about it.

i am away on my hols for a while and i see the testosterone level has gone through the roof again...now calm yourselves down a little bit and go take a cool drink of lemonade.....and just to get into the spirit of things about who is linked with who....reading between the lines i noticed it has been mentioned again that man utd will not stand in Martials way if he wants to leave and as we had allegedly been said to be after the player will 2+2 make 4? or will it like chips in a butty disappear quickly never to be seen again

Trouble is Hammergirl there's more mud slinging than debate. Used to be a time on here where debate was rife. Now its just broken records and if you stick your head up the snipers take it off. If you look at Ashes respeonse, a proper reply, no sensitivity, just his opinions. The best thing about RNI replies is the old "rules of the org" thread, haven't seen that one for ages. Tricky Trev lives!!!!

Ok Betty, let me know when you put up something either worth debating or that can even be debated. All you try to do is point score off me.

Don't flatter yourself mate, I don't take it that serious. Debate this one. Debate the Onyeruku comment. Or are you just flinging crap at the wall and hoping it sticks? ; )
