Christmas eve north of the border brrrr its bloody wet and windy so thought i'd ask this question......So Declan do you miss him or are you happier now all the constant press speculation to sell him is long gone.

Alvarez has filled the gap admirably IMO and know i am not going to compare one player with another that's pointless i feel.....so how do you lot feel about our once Captain?

Well I miss him, the club may have moved on and I concur with Alvarez et al. But Dec was more than just a player he was the glue that held the club together. Look at him at Arsenal, he's the best in the world at what he does!!

I disagree actually

Whilst not denying Rice was tremendous as a player for us, I think it was detrimental to the team as a whole. And I HAVE watched him at Arsenal as an attacking midfielder. His stats pale into insignificance compared to JWP and Paqueta.

How can you not miss a world class game changer like Dec?

One of the pundits saying today that had Liverpool bought him they would be guaranteed Prem winners.

We lost a class player but for once WH have used the money wisely with the new additions for slightly less than we received from Arse... good business. I still see him moving to a bigger club, City were stupid not to buy him and this season will prove just that!
