We're Big Sam's Claret and Blue Army!!!

Submitted by Betty Swollox on Thu, 30/04/2015 - 10:11

So it seems that forums like these are wrong and the vast majority of fans are pro Allardyce. Large sections of UP can be heard week after week chanting "We're Big Sam's Claret and Blue Army. Things are looking up for next year as Sam will get another two year contract (best to be safe than sorry), Nolan will be doing conditioning work (no alcohol) all summer, so that he can play a full 90 minutes. Carroll has worked hard with his injuries and now looks likely to make at least half the season. Cole will be offered another year and Jarvis is going to be the best right winger, sorry left winger in the country and play for England at he Euros. So on behalf of all those that want another year or two with Allardyce and can't understand what the hoo ha is about, what's your views of how we'll do next year? Who will we sign, bearing in mind that the caveat of Nolan and Carroll always starting applies? Where do you think we'll finish? Come on you must be excited about him staying? Let's have a pro Allardyce discussion just like on the terraces every Saturday.

Good to see wit and satire still abound on the Org! Perhaps Kevin Davies could be 'unretired' in order to help push things forward? -Ed

I do believe we're 9th?
3 games to go?
If someone can point out a better championship climb I'm all ears.
By the way, we were very good against Burnley, and I was at the Hull game last year.
So yes, I'm still pro Allerdyce.

I don't think I have ever been so pissed off with our manger. Since Greenwood we have had some shite mangers that have taken us down or just been crap, but Sam is just stubborn and negative in his ways he just will not change. He has no love for the club or fans it's just a big fat wage at the end of the week the sooner he is gone the better. I really don't think I could take an other season like this from him.

i have the same feelings mate and it aint right , the brightest star in the west ham decent since Christmas is the remarkable transformation of our goalkeeper from a rather nervie start when he took over, into a world class keeper

I agree. I have never detested a Manager, no matter how poor some of the previous ones have performed, until Allardyce came along. He is NOT WEST HAM , never has been and never will be.

The sad thing is that they are leaving it so late that the possibility of giving this man who in all honesty has done a solid if terribly annoying one dimentional job a send off he deserves.
I would rather we knew now that he was not going to be offered a new contract and acted respectfully toward him he deserves respect, rather than swearing and spitting feathers.

I am surprised FT that those that want him to stay don't create threads about the prospects of next season. Salivating at the idea of how high we'll finish and the team selections, ins and outs etc.. Are they kidding themselves? Or too scared of the backlash should they comment? Either way it's all a bit sad. Others have put it on different threads, but we have nothing to discuss. It's the first time I can remember even in the dark days of Roeder that nobody feels optimistic around the club anymore. Apart form the 1000s that Jeff sits with obviously ;0) So come on the pro-Allardyces help us miserable, disgruntled fans out of our slumber, get us to feel the optimism you have.

How could you forget about Roedent? Actually left a fit again Di Canio out of the side cos he felt disrespected by him despite us only have a green around the gills Defoe as our only striker. Total twat.

I remember one year into his premiership reign thinking this is going to get tedious I hated the way we were playing and even I am surprised at how little Allardyce has changed things if anything he is playing more negatively than ever and though that is ok against the big teams I do not get that we still play defensive against stoke or Crystal palace or QPR etc it is embarrassing.
Optimism about West Ham right now is impossible because Allardyce is still the manager, even his biggest fans have jumped ship or are ready to hop off, maybe a win today will change that.

It's what it must feel like for somebody on trial, when the jury is out, and are taking weeks to come to a verdict: will you be a free man, or will you be sent for 2 years of hard labour, with little hope of escape or parole? :-)

I don't mind staying with Allardyce(if we can't get a top class manager) with 2 caveats. 1) We play like we play at the start of the season and play with a decent striking options and 2) We get rid of Nolan. Just look at the stats with him in the team and without him in the team.

I feel the same but fundamentally he's not gonna do it. The Allardyce pre Xmas is the manager I wanted but only got him because of injuries. For £3 million a year though I want someone who plays well through ideals not luck

With the great header Maiga scored the other day I fully expect to see him back in the squad next season. Great foil for Carroll.

No doubt BFS will be celebrating Nolan's 100th goal, against Burnley. So expect him to play the full 90 minutes. LOL.

Can't believe he didn't pull the Captain badge out and rip the ball off Noble for the pen...
